The hub - wolverhampton university

Point Eight were selected by Vinci Construction as the specialist joinery and fit out company to manufacture and install a range of specially designed fitted furniture for the new £10m arts centre, The Hub. Part of Wolverhampton University, The Hub is  open to the public and provide students with state of- the-art performance space for dance, drama and music

All furniture was manufactured at our 60,000 sq ft factory and installed on site by our team of joiners and fitters. Included in the project were the following areas:

• Counter for Learning Resource Centre
• Atrium Counter
• Control room for theatre mixing desks and sliding glass doors
• Technician counter with roller shutter
• Dressing Room
• Changing Room
• Self Issue Units
• Corridor seating
• Admin counter with sliding glass doors
• Refreshment points
• Lockers
• Hub Zone area incorporating cupboards, worktops and wall units.
